The Sensor Keyboard
With an innovative sensor keyboard you'll have quick access to all your PINs - without any annoying and time-killing passwords. Just remember a geometrical shape, a digit, an alphabetic character or an individual sensor combination and set up your private sensor code.
How does it work:
The sensor keyboard consists of 9 touch-sensitive sensors. With the touches a sensor code is calculated. As soon as iPIN recognizes your personal sensor code the program is unlocked.
You can simply touch a sensor or slide over multiple sensors at once. Of course, combinations are allowed and should be used to make your sensor code as secure as possible.
The first touch activates the sensor, and with a second touch the sensor becomes deactivated. You can activate and deactivate the sensors as often as you like.
Your individual sensor code is calculated by the order in which you have activated and deactivated the sensors and in which way the sensors have been activated and deactivated: single touch or slide over.
An Example
The example on the right side shows how to setup/use a sensor login with three simple gestures:
With the first gesture slide over the three sensors from the upper-left to the lower-left
With the second gesture slide over the three sensors from the lower-left to the upper-right
At the end single touch the sensor in the middle (just to make the sensor code a bit more complicated) and that‘s it - you are logged in!
Very easy, lightning fast and easy to remenber!
You will setup your individual sensor code at first program start ... and of course you can change the sensor code at any time in the iPIN settings.
Safety is of greatest importance!
Encryption
All data is encrypted with the Advanced Encryption Standard and a key length of 256 bit (abbreviated AES-256).
With this state-of-the-art encryption algorithm your private data is protected from unauthorized access - even in the case your iPhone, iPod touch or iPad gets into the wrong hands.
PIN & Password Display
The PIN and Password display is also designed with the focus on best possible security so that it‘s very hard for someone to spy out your private data ... for example if someone is standing behind you at the cash desk and you need the PIN to pay with your debit card.
For an untrained eye the display seems to be completely confusing. The PIN is displayed within a small area in the middle of the screen and fades out automatically.
You can customize the display with 9 parameters so that the display fits your personal needs and individual taste.
You are a little bit paranoid? Still afraid someone can spy out your data? No problem! Setup an algorithm used to display your PINs and passwords in a special way. For example display all your data in reversed order: PIN 1234 becomes 4321. Because you are the only one who knows this setting it‘s impossible for others to recognize the correct PIN.

On the Mac you login with a master password. A sensor keyboard was deliberately omitted, since the operation of the sensors is only effective in conjunction with a touchscreen.
